1. Description
The personal transporter is a sophisticated piece of equipment that is much more complex
than first meets the eye. It takes a lot of technology and advanced engineering to make the
scooter operate as it does on 2 wheels. It becomes more apparent how truly remarkable this
machine is when you understand a little more of how it works.
2. working principle
Based on the basic principle of "motion stability", that is to say, vehicle's automatic balance ability, it can judge the position, status of the vehicle by its built-in precise solid-state gyroscope and then drive its motors to balance the vehicle after receiving the commands from high-speed CPU inside.
3. Driving ability
Each has two strong Hub motors, giving a power range of between 500W to 2000W per scooter, these two wheel scooters can move at a speed up to 20 Kph through a smart transmission that drives high strength vacuum tires which makes it move stable and comfortable no matter if indoors or outdoors
4.The source of power
The power source of our personal transporters comes from 2 rechargeable powerful Lithium batteries for eg:33V 10AH which can work for around1.5 hours and can move between 20--35 km on one charge, depending on terrain.
5, FACT on SAFETY
1. We are using axis gyroscopes: including axis angular speed sensors and axis acceleration sensors, these two sets of sensors work together in case one set fails to keep the scooter balancing, the machine itself will not fall down suddenly there is 5 second of surplus time and then the control bar will fall down slowly, allowing the rider to step off safely.
2.some have installed an infrared sensor as an auto shut down mechanism, this is new and not shown in the instruction manual.
Looking After Your Battery
All our scooters have the latest generation of Lithium batteries with battery management circuitry built into them. This BMC is there to protect against overcharging and over draining the battery cells. It also ensures that all the battery cells charge and discharge evenly giving the whole battery a longer life.
The best way to look after the battery on your scooter is to use regularly. Leaving it discharged is likely to shorten its life. So ride your scooter regularly and recharge it regularly. It's usually lack of use that causes problems.
Never leave your battery discharged for long periods of time. If you are not going to use your Scooter for a while, charge its battery every month anyway. If necessary get a monthly timer so it can be recharged every 4 weeks automatically. That way you can just plug it in and the timer will take care of it for you without you having to worry about it.
When your Scooter is new, fully discharge and re-charge the battery at least once, this conditions the battery cells. After that there is no need to discharge the battery before recharging. There is no memory effect on our batteries so you can top them up at any time, and we recommend that you do this.
In the winter or when it is cold, any battery will become less efficient. This is true of all batteries, you will be aware that after a freezing night on and on cold morning cars can be more difficult to start because the battery has got so cold. It is not quite the same with an lithium battery, but if the battery is allowed to get very cold by being left out in a garage or shed, the battery efficiency will drop considerably. This will result in the scooter feeling a bit slower and the range or distance it will travel before a recharge is required will be reduced.
If you can keep your scooter indoors when the weather is very cold it will not just help the battery and all the moving parts it will run better as well reducing any drag and general wear.
Your electric scooter relies on it's batteries, so look after the battery and it will look after you.
Electric bikes and scooters do need a bit more attention, but these simple precautions will prolong their life, and give you many happy years of use..
All our Segway Type Scooters are made in China and use the same principle as the well known USA Segway®, they have been called "CHEGWAY" "SEGSCOOTER" "2 WHEEL BALLANCE SCOOTER" or simply P/T (Personal Transporter)
What ever the name they all have the same technology and advanced engineering.
NB:
The name Segway® we know as a brand, and is used to describe these scooters, we do not use it to misrepresent.
As Mr Benz invented the "motor car" it is still known today as the "motor car" even though it is made by Mr Ford.
Just as the brand name "HOOVER" has become THE name for vacuum cleaners,we still refer to the vacuum as the "HOOVER"
The name Segway® will become synonymous with this form of transport even when it is made by other manufacturers.
We applaud Segway Inc for their ingenuity and wish to take nothing away from their engineering skill, however China can make the same product for less cost, therefore making them more affordable.

Just by way of further advice, when and if you use your scooter on the beach
It will be prone to sand getting inside the workings, this can cause rust to form very quick, it is advisable to use an aerosol air spray to clean any lose sand from the inside especially from the mother board. This is easy to do just by loosening a few screws, 5 minutes work can save your scooter from having rust problems that may cause it to malfunction.
